Otaku Records is the main provider for electronic music in Hamburg / Germany.

Established in 1997 and now - after moving away from the so-called Schanzenviertel and Karoviertel quarters in early 2014 - located at the heart of Hamburgs world famous redlight and amusement district St. Pauli, our recordstore serves DJs, clubbers, collectors and homelisteners alike and is regarded one of the best stores to be found by the local scene, visitors from other cities and even international customers dropping in regularly. Less than a 5 minutes walk away from the tube station S1 / S3 Reeperbahn we're pleased to serve your cravings in everything electronic music and partly beyond.

No matter what you're looking for - if its Ambient or Techno, all kinds of House Music, Drum'n'Bass, Dubstep, Grime, Breakcore, Hardcore, Electronica, DiscoEdits, Detroit, Breaks, Electro, Indietronics, Cosmic, Minimal and beyond, if its on 7", 10" or 12" vinyl, LP, CD, DVD or even tape, we stock it. And if not our staff is trying their best to make it available for you. As we like to say: We can't do magic, but we're working on it.

Our regular store stock holds approx. 10.000+ items including hard to find stuff, some of that  from the lost & rediscovered archives of labels long gone, records that not regularly distributed plus a handpicked selection of magazines, t-shirts and record bags - way more than we offer online.
